OUR HISTORY

Acquired in 1978 by Philippe Thomas, then taken over by his children, the Château Frontenac 4* hotel is housed in a superb freestone building. Forty years later, the Château Frontenac 4* hotel is an address known to insiders who appreciate its location, its welcome, its services and its luxury without ostentation. A hotel that bases its originality on sharing, linking family tribe and circle of friends, businessmen and travellers from around the world, all in love with Paris and its indefinable appeal.

The Château Frontenac 4* hotel once housed the cabaret Le Gerny's, where the legendary Édith Gassion, the "Môme Piaf", who was not yet the legendary Édith Piaf, debuted.

Over the decades, the hotel has reinvented itself, while retaining its original soul, with decorative elements and period stained glass windows, as refined as they are spectacular, reminiscent of the Roaring Twenties.

As soon as they enter the hotel, visitors are struck by the spacious volumes, enhanced by the luminosity from the sky that floods the reception lounge and invites the eye to discover the marvellous Art Deco glass dome, unveiled during the renovation of the hotel.
